One, two, three: Darjeeling Dish Set
June 10th, 2008
Why this item stands out in a crowd?
I know in times like these we rarely have the time to look for those strange and wonderful additions to our kitchen and our home, or splurge on that one last item that will make a room complete, but for those exact reasons we are seriously in love with the Darjeeling Dish Set. Unique and beautifully made, this isn’t a set of mugs and plates that you are going to see at the mall or at your girlfriend’s house - it is a set that captures a sense of fun and hopefulness perfectly and might just end up being the most cost effective way to turn your mood around!

Darjeeling. One word, oh-so-many connotations! Tea - we love. Movie - we adore. Adrien Brody - hello. Yet, in all honesty, since we’ve seen this plate and mug set we haven’t been able to think of anything else. The dishes are bright and cheery, but have a pattern that is classic and engaging - they’ll go with anything the Spring and Summer can throw at them!
We’ve had a pretty ridiculous winter that included everything from major moves to major surgery (not to mention all the family thrown in) and, quite frankly, we can’t wait for Spring! We want something to pretty up our table and perk our interest in the culinary arts. We want something that says, "Never fear, the Spring is here, and it doesn’t have to cost a fortune!"
Mission accomplished.
