Sara Wasserman has become a Delight HQ fave and we have been playing her new album, Solid Ground, obsessively.   Sara has a refreshingly soulful voice and we love her passionate delivery.

Solid Ground is a result of Sara's travels and inspiration from cities rich in culture and song...New Orleans to New York to San Francisco and even Peru.   Growing up, Sara Wasserman was exposed to great music from her family and became fascinated with Etta James, Bonnie Raitt and Whitney Houston.   In this album, you can definitely hear their influences, mixed in with a fresh pop/rock vibe and just the hint of jazz.    Collaborations with Lou Reed, Stephen Perkins of Jane’s Addiction, Aaron Neville and her dad, the Grammy legend Rob Wasserman make Solid Ground a memorable album, and we can’t help but love Sara when she sings the Hall & Oates classic “Sara Smile”.
