She sat languidly on her bed, surrounded by the warm glow of candle-light.  She watched him draw her bath as she sipped champagne.  He had surprised her. And she loved his surprise.

He had one purpose for tonight, to embody his love for her and to express it in every way possible. His tanned, muscular arms dangled in the flowing wet bath water as it filled the tub. He wanted her. And he knew he would have her. But right now his only mission was to spoil her.

He reached for the bath salts, imported from France, and scented in an erotic yet natural array of floral perfumes. He fumbled a bit and their eyes locked from across the room as he picked up the colorful vials.

She always new she was a fortunate gal. He had concocted special nights like this for her before, and she always felt like a princess.  She watched as his strong, manly hands opened the delicate vials of sweet-smelling salts. She imagined herself submerging her long, lean and aching body into the warm water as he watched over her.

As the tub filled, he prepared the final piece to her bath…a gorgeous bamboo caddy, which held not one but two more glasses of bubbly champagne, a few of her favorite chocolate truffles, and a book. It was a blank book, but he had filled the pages saying only one thing “I Love You, I Love You, I Love You, I Love You” over and over again.

He knew she would be happy. He smiled as he beckoned her to the bath. He helped her out of her fluffy warm wrap-around robe he had provided for her as she waited, and he caressed her shoulders as it slid to the floor.

She slipped into the bath, never leaving his gaze. But then, her eyes looked upon the book and they filled – only for a moment – with precious tears.

“Enjoy your bath.” He said backing out of the room.

They both knew they would enjoy what came after the bath as well.
