Pros of winter: snow, little kids in snowsuits, ice skating, presents, sweets en mass, snow days.  Cons: cold, freezing, icy, cold, freezing, icy.  You get the point.  Thanks to a couple hundred years of Irish breeding I have no circulation and paper thin skin.  I’m not made for brisk evenings or midnight runs down a ski slope.  That having been said, there are a few activities that can lure me out on a cold winter’s day, but I will be prepared.  Tights, jeans, Henley, sweater, parka, hat, and most importantly, a scarf.
