There have been many, many long, painful days rewarded at the end with a delicious steaming hot bowl of pho, over-flowing with fresh basil & cilantro, bok choy, water chestnuts and of course oodles and oodles of noodles.

Of course the best way to enjoy pho is to eat in at a great restaurant, but often (when pho and noodles in general are needed most) all I really want to do is crawl home, pop in a great tear-jerker and lick my wounds (long day at work, too much family, hang-over) with said pho on the couch with my dog.
