If you ask the man of the house, he would say that my love affair borders on a manic obsession.  He might also say that our lovely house (still devoid of sitting room chairs mind you) is becoming overrun with glossies.  

To be fair, I read them all (eventually), and after years of his screaming “WHY DON’T YOU JUST BUY A SUBSCRIPTION! IT’S CHEAPER!” I bit the bullet one day and ordered myself – like – 30 subscriptions.

For someone who doesn’t have a whole lot of time on her hands, there is much time needed to read all my lovely magazines.

But I digress.  The real present issue here is presentation and storage.  I will always lovingly store away every copy of Martha Stewart, Food & Wine, Elle Décor, Domino and W, but there are so many other special issues worth caring for as well.  And then there are the current must-reads, with up-to-the-minute, completely important info.  What’s a girl to do?

The other problem is that magazine stands haven’t evolved like other home décor items. They’re still bulky, deep and cavernous and tend to collect more dust-bunnies than legit mags.
