Ten Reasons We Are Loving This Summer:
1. The inhabitants of HQ had begun to look something past pasty and more like cousins from Transylvania (don’t worry, we’ll remember sunscreen).
2. While we love our offices, the rooms don’t transmit heat…at all…thank heaven for open garage doors!
3. Sangria and Margaritas, anyone?
4. For reasons beyond our understanding, our yards look great! Grass is green and everything is blooming out of control.
5. Summer hours!
6. We try to take advantage of the mountains being so close here in Denver, but, FYI, it is normally a bit cold up there during other seasons. Yay, for summer weekenders in Grand Lake!!
7. Stupid summer movies. We’ll admit it, we’ve been fawning over Iron Man, Indy, and Sex in the City…sometimes mindless is good.
8. Here in Denver we have Red Rocks, the best outdoor music venue ever (okay, to us at least), but all across the country now is the time to get outside at night and see some music that sounds ten times better underneath the stars!
9. Okay, we know we already mentioned this…but have you seen how pasty our legs are??? So sad.
10. Watersports…and by “watersports” we mean floating about lakes, streams, rivers, and pools, and getting a tan…

One of my favorite things to do in the summer is to pack up a fabulous picnic dinner and go to a concert in the park (preferably free) with friends. This mat/bag combo is insanely fantastic because it is really, really big for all the picnic gear and food and when it’s empty, it opens up as a mat! Super convenient and functional!

I just got my order and this is much more amazing than what you can see on the site. The bag is the perfect size as is the blanket and the green is really pretty. I plan to take this to the beach every day!

What a great reason to go to the beach, I’m always bringing my clean bed sheets to the beach only to come back with them all sandy and damaged. This is a problem solver, and I love that it doubles as a tote for all my summer love novels and sunscreen!! Love it!
