My mom makes the best salad dressing. And it’s probably why I like vegetables so much.
Just about every night I can remember growing up, my mom cooked a fantastic dinner, and we always had salad. She used the same salad dressing every single time, and to this day I’m not sick of it.
The process was simple: add really good olive oil, vinegar, dry mustard, salt, and garlic into a jar with a lid and shake.
Its funny how, once you get used to the idea of making things yourself (like dressings, marinades and sauces) it is actually much easier and more affordable than buying store-bought. Plus, there is the peace of mind that you’re not consuming tons and tons of sodium, sugar and preservatives.
All in all, making little lifestyle changes like preparing your own salad dressings, just seem to make sense in this crazy world. Using fresh ingredients makes everything taste better, and saving even small change like opting out of a $4 bottle of salad dressing or BBQ sauce means you can splurge on a couple pints of organic berries for desert.

I bought a set as soon as they were listed!! I absolutely LOVE them, I have already made the dressing and BBQ sauce and my family loves the receipes. I can’t get over how easy it was, just pour to the line and there you go!! Thank you so much for listing these, I don’t think I will ever buy another bottle of BBQ sauce, dressing or marinade again!!
