Baby Grobal: The Cutest Self-Watering Plant Pot Ever
June 8th, 2008
Ten Reasons We Flipped For Grobals:
1. They water themselves!
2. We’re even more helpless than the average plant owner as the Delight.com front office plant can attest.
3. While we’d love to have an adorably designed office and have it filled with living green wonders, we don’t have much time on our hands…YAY! Grobals!
4. We like choices – tons of colors and two sizes!
5. Obviously, we’re easily amused…in taking apart and marveling at the Grobal contraption we were enthralled for a good thirty minutes.
6. We have tons of gifts that we need and the Grobal fits the bill, perfectly!.
7. We are bummed that summer is over but these little lovelies help remind us of our favorite season!
8. Grobal…seriously. Best. Word. Ever.
9. Grobals…sounds like a rather frightening early 80’s film reference, but alas, it is something much cuter.
10. Beautiful. Check. Super Useful. Check

I have a certified black thumb so when I bought a set of these Grobals I wasn’t sure if they were really work for me but it’s been a revelation! My plants love the ongoing water supply and I love their look. I got the blue one and the color is lovely and fits in with my decor. I HIGHLY recommend these.

These plant pots are perfect for me. I can sometimes be forgetful about watering my pants, and these get the job done. They also look really cute lined up on my windowsill with the different colors!

I think it is a great idea. The product has great potentials. Do you have any discount price for retailers? Do you send overseas?

Is Lianne CRAZY? I have three at home w/ succulents (tangerine, bubblegum and mint) and I’ve given out - geeze - maybe 10 as gifts? Never had 1 person who didn’t FLIP over this…which is why I’m here to stock up on more.

No I’m not crazy “cmk” I just think that they are way too small… I bought a few for gifts… I only had to buy one plant at the garden store (for under $5, i might add….
and I had to cut the plant into three parts to have it fit in the small pot…….. and it still looks over grown…
just way too small!

These are super cute, a little smaller then i expected, just planted today so it will take a while to see if i can actually keep these guys alive. my only complaint is that 2 out of the 5 i bought didn’t have the soil separated from the rocks and was already crushed up so i’m worried how that will effect my plants.

do you have to buy replacement soil and grobal food?
