Two weeks ago during Bohemian Summer week we put another pair of enamel earrings by Kiln Design Studio and they went like hot cakes in one day!  We’re so excited over their success that we wanted to offer more of what Kiln had to offer, so you could get as much enamel into your jewelry box as possible.  

We are, admittedly, a bit obsessed with enamel these day, but we love how you can take a simple design like a hoop or a disc, and transform them into something all together unique with just a touch of enamel.

Kiln Enamel began in the spring of 2001 at the Brooklyn studio of Elissa Ehlin and James Leritz. Since then, the vibrant colors and simple elegant design of their work have caught the eye of every type of customer, from fellow New York artists to the fashion and celebrity elite of Los Angeles. Elissa is a professional color theorist and interior designer. Jay is co-founder of Deform Furniture and a designer for Blu-Dot Furniture.

For the past 5 years, they have been perfecting their technique of enameling, the centuries-old process of kiln-firing stained glass onto metal. Combining ancient hand-painting techniques with experimental modern methods, Kiln Enamel has come up with an ever-evolving line of sculptures, mobiles, tableware, home decorative products and jewelry. A true phenomenon, Kiln Enamel products can be found at stores nationwide. Exclusive lines are currently in development for the likes of Bergdorf Goodman, Sushi Samba, Holt Renfru, and Kate Spade. Every piece is handmade at the Kiln Enamel studio in Brooklyn, New York.
