Eco-Friendly Agenda Planner by ecojot: 100% Recycled Paper
February 19th, 2008
While we love our pretty white Macbooks here at HQ, we still love a pretty notebook, bound and sized perfectly, and filled with infinite possibilities, which reside amongst blank lined paper. And nothing beats writing everything down in a good old fashioned planner.
Personally, I have a rather bad habit of writing things down while I drive (I do try to wait for stop signs and red lights) but thoughts seem to form in vehicles for me (you should see me in a plane!!), so a notebook is essential in my handbag at all times.
I’ve fancied the work of Mirage Paper Co since we discovered them in New York las January. This past May they added a new addition to their line…ecojot. First I was drooling over the gorgeous colors and fun, floral patterns. Then, I found out that ecojot is about as eco-friendly, earth-conscious and green-minded as any company out there. Which says a lot when you’re making paper products.
Ecojot isn’t just about using recycled papers. They’re about being green – literally – from start to finish. How many paper mills do you know about that are run by reclaimed gases from landfills??? I wouldn’t even know how to ASK for something like that!
What else does ecojot boast besides insanely gorgeous paper goods?
- 100% recycled + recycleable
- 100% post-consumer waste
- no new trees were cut to make these notebooks
- paper is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council
- glues & inks are vegetable based, which means they’re biodegradable
- the mill used to make the paper uses clean, affordable biogas (recovered landfill gases) as their alternative power source
I love my CrackBerry, but I gotta have a planner. Because there is nothing more inspiring than innovation and creativity, and ecojot has nailed it on both counts!

this is very cute. A quick question. Is it designed to be used for 2008 or is it for any week?

It’s undated - so you can start it whenever you want to!

I bought the notepads last month here on Delight with the same design and I get so many compliments about how cute it looks and when I tell people how eco the company is they are really impressed.

I just received mine today and it’s wonderful because I can start dating it for this Monday. The design on the front is super cute and it’s the perfect size for me. Love the empty pages in the back where I can write down directions to my next photoshoot!

This is a great planner. The main reason I bought it was for the design on the outside. Knowing that it is 100% recycled paper makes it an even better purchase!

I love this planner, alltough I don´t have one. Sadly I am having a hard time finding a retailer that ships to Iceland. I absolutelly love how eco it is, all the way from the papermill that makes it down to the ink. And the total look is great, great cover so cute. ANd also great on the inside, love the green and the design all together. ANd that is undated is so great, because I hate how most planners are dated, so if I need a new planner on other times than at the beginning of the year a half a planner goes to waste. Only wished I could get one somehow. So much I am even thinking about becoming a retailer my self.
