size 6-8? Really, why not make it an average woman’s size, 12-14?

Hi guys,
We were in no way trying to be offensive. As you can tell the cardigan is roomy throughout the body, but the sleeves are ruched and a little on the tight side, so we wanted to be conservative in sizing so as to not mis-represent.
We were able to purchase just a limited amount of this cardigan in only one size - we made the decision to do so, because we believe in the piece and support what the company is doing with innovative fabrics like bamboo.
I am 6ft tall and NOT model size and I personally made sure the cardigan fit me before we took it on the site.
Perhaps there is just a wording communication here and we do apologize. The sweater is great and DOES fit most. If my sizing approximation was is off, again - I apologize.
As with all clothing - it is impossible to find all sizes for all people. We appreciate that this might be a special opportunity not available to everyone, but the true focus for our 22 Days of Eco Friendly items is to introduce unique, forward-thinking products by companies who are innovative and creative and green. Actually ‘one size fits all’ and ‘one size fits most’ can almost never be accurate. I can only think of one thing in my closet to which that applies, and it’s a kikoy, which is like a large piece of fabric you can wear as a skirt, a wrap, or on your head.
I just think in the future maybe ‘one size fits small (10-)’ ‘one size fits average (10-16)’ and ‘one size fits large (16+)’ might be better. Of course I wouldn’t by any of those as I am even larger (anorexia doesn’t always make you skinny).
