I saw this at a friends house and it’s even cuter/cooler in person. It’s pretty large and the colors are glowing

What a unique and pretty bowl, but why so pricey? =)

How large? diameter? height? And like Ina said, pretty pricey. Not something I’d buy at that price.

Hello ladies,
Jenny here! I’m the community manager at Delight and I wanted to let you know that the Eva Smiley Bowl is really a stunning piece of sculpture. It is made out of hand blown glass and really makes a stunning addition to any coffee table. While it is over a $100, it’s a handmade piece of art work. Also, I wanted to let you know about the Eva Smiley Bowl is 8 inches across, 5 inches tall and has a diameter of 8 inches.
As always we love hearing feedback from our customers, so keep up the great comments!

This is the perfect gift for my father! He loves pistachios, but leaves the shells everywhere.

Jenny is right - I purchased this bowl earlier when it was in a Scout special preview email and it is worth every penny. I love this bowl so much - it’s hard to find such unique and useful items that are so well made these days. Cheers to Delight for “scouting” such a wonderful item!

ah, blown glass…that explains the price. Maybe birthday gifts for the 2 daughters? I’ll keep it in mind.

I was wondering if “all” colors will be available soon for purchase? I’d like the red or green bowl!

I purchased this item in orange and it’s really, really lovely. I want it in red, too! Please let me know if you’re getting more stock in. It’s showing as “sold out” on your website???

The Today Show indicated the starting price was $25 ???
October 21st, 2009 at 7:34 am
I too thought it was an Amazzzing gift for $25 dollars. Thats why I visited the website to purchase a few of them. Only to see it was more $$$ than it showed for on the Today Show
October 21st, 2009 at 8:41 am
I saw this on Today for $24.00. I would buy for $24 but not $135.
October 21st, 2009 at 8:48 am
Hello,
The Today Show mentioned that prices started at $24 and that was for the Lappers that were mentioned on the show which you can find here!

$135 for a nut bowl - this is pure insanity - I saw it on the Today Show and wanted to order one right away until I saw the price - the price is ridiculous - I thought the Today Show said it was under $25 - good luck on selling any at that price

Dear Admin.
Please refer to the “Today Show” video and it clearly states in writing that the smiley bowls and lappers start at $24. A very misleading add, however a great product.

Hello new Delight friends,
We had two items featured on the Today Show, the Lappers which are $24.50 and this bowl, which is $135.50. Sorry if it was misleading, the segment wasn’t an ad, Jill Martin chose to talk about these amazing items herself, and as you can see there isn’t too much room to write all the information on the television screen, so that’s why they chose to say “start at.”
This bowl is truly a piece of art, made by award-winning Denmark designers. It is hand-blown glass and absolutely stunning. It is an heirloom piece, something you can hand down to your kids, and trust me it is worth every penny, and this bowl is one of our best-selling items on Delight.com.
It may not be for everyone, but if you’re fortunate enough to be able to purchase one, I know you’ll fall in love with it like I have!
Best,
Tracey

I was so excited when I saw this concept on the Today’s Show. I now can not believe the cost. Especially during these times
October 22nd, 2009 at 7:49 am
The cost of the Eva Bowls is much more than I expected.

I saw this bowl long before the Today Show featured it and was thrilled to learn that Delight.com has it. Trust me, it is stunning and unfortunately the Today Show segment didn’t begin to do it justice. They didn’t even mention it was hand blown glass. As for the above comments about the price, I am truly puzzled by some them. It isn’t an ordinary bowl, it’s a piece of art that has a function. I love it and am going to buy it!
October 23rd, 2009 at 5:05 am
Um…last time I checked no one was forcing you to buy this bowl. Do you whine to everyone who sells something YOU can’t afford? What good does that do anyone? I love this bowl and was thrilled to see it recogognized on the Today Show. Congrats Delight for continuing to have such great taste!

Is the Smiley Bowl really $134.50? As I look at the price point on your products, the price for this bowl seems out of wack. Is the price of the bowl an error? I am interested in purchasing for my husband for Christmas.

I, too, just visited the site after seeing this on the Today Show. Very misleading segment on the show. For something this pricey, they should have mentioned it especially when paired with a product that is $25. And, they made it sound way more functional for “anyone”. I was going to buy it for my husband b/c he and my 4 year old love pistachios… but I don’t think I want them eating them out of a bowl that is $135…

I have been admiring this bowl for months….and finally bought it. IT IS BEAUTIFUL!!!! and it absolutely is a work of art. keep these unique items coming. WORTH THE PRICE.
