Here at Delight HQ it is safe to say that we are, across the board, foodies. We love eating out, cooking, and probably most of all, talking about food. Our biggest problem with said love of food (besides fitting into jeans and such) is that we don’t have many options near the office to indulge and/or satiate ourselves. With a scattering of fast food joints and the odd hole-in-the-wall, we are left to fend for ourselves and bring lunch from home if we want anything edible.
Now we’re not talking a sandwich and a bag of chips here, we’re talking real food – last night’s Tri tip with horseradish cream and rosemary potatoes, and maybe a bit of the Tart Tatin you said you wouldn’t eat. We’ve found that there is nothing more depressing than having to eat these lovely leftovers out of old tupperware and recycled cottage cheese containers. What was gourmet last night becomes almost inedible…

Lovely! Just be sure to heat up your soup in the container you brought it in, as melamine isn’t microwave-safe.

now I just have to divorce myself from fast food joints to fully take advantage of this set. I bought it anyway to help me make a baby step to eating better (now if I could only kick my latte habit)

I don’t get it. Why spend this kind of money on tupperware in disguise? The design of the placemat (the way it wraps around containers) would make it look neat on a shelf, but it is not going to travel well. For this kind of money I could go buy a ceramic bowl and plate, and a nice basket to fit them in.

I just discovered Delight today and fell in love with this set(and soooo many other things on the site) and while it may not be perfect I think it’s a great alternative when I eat at my desk (and I don’t have to travel with it since I can clean it up in our kitchen)

Can’t wait to get this in the mail! I eat at my desk at least 3 times a week and love the idea of having a place mat to keep it clean as well as having everything I need to bring my lunch in one container…even silverware!

It’s not even as good as a tupperware because it’s not waterproof, that means you can’t carry your food with this item…
