Wow – is this a trip down memory lane. 

I didn’t do a lot of “bridal” things when I got married.  Sure I had a FAB dress, and was coerced into getting a veil (which I did love), but other than that, everything was fairly bare bones.  I didn’t bother myself with uncomfortable wedding shoes (I went barefoot, and wore flip flops from Target to the reception), my jewelry was borrowed from a dear dear friend, and there wasn’t a tiara in sight.

I did however, kind of obsess over my perfume.  For whatever reason I wanted something fresh, simple, and something my husband would remember.  I was living in LA at the time, and when my mom came out to help with final touches, we scoured the streets and small boutiques of Los Angeles in search of the perfect scent.

In a small adorable shop on Third Street Fragonard’s Soleil was waiting for me.  In it’s golden bottle, topped with a sunburst is sat on a small shelf, and I knew it was the one.  Soleil does sort of smell like the sun.  Or the sun on grass and flowers.  Or maybe it smells like a sunny day…that day, several days into your honeymoon for instance, in which you realize you’ve tied the knot, the parties and madness are over, and you couldn’t be happier.

When we had the opportunity to meet the fine ladies of Fragonard I had to stop myself from gushing over their uniquely wonderful perfumes and beauty products.  I also had to stop myself from buying every item in all their lines.  But I knew that this special collection of Soleil parfumes (Soleil being my favorite + 4 other divine scents) was the absolute PERFECT Delightful item to feature for the holidays.

We women know the significance a good perfume can carry.  It’s all about memories, and feelings, and feeling wonderful.  I hope this lovely set of scents brings you the same wonderful memories it has brought me.
