Wake Up To A Cup Of Gnome
March 15th, 2007
You were that kid who saw rainbows in your Cheerios. You always had your own private symphony playing in your mind. When you made ceramics in class - you crafted a flying unicorn.
So it’s no wonder you’ve kind of had a thing for gnomes.
Or maybe you weren’t that kid at all. In fact, you’ve been eating nothing BUT Cheerios since you were 6 1/2. And your idea of a unique gift is, sadly, a toaster.
Well, kid #1 and #2 - we here at Delight love you both. And we say - whatever the state of your mind - go ahead and wake up to a cup of Gnome. Wake up to a bowl of Gnome. And go ahead and eat a plate of Gnome.
Our little gnome is a funny guy. Look at him sitting there grinning on a swing! We just think he can make anyone smile…especially at breakfast.
We love this breakfast set for a few reasons:
1) It’s bright yellow. The color of happy.
2) It’s chock full of swinging gnomes.
3) Be it oatmeal with green tea and an apple, or Lucky Charms with hot chocolate and a donut, this ceramic breakfast set will make your most important meal of the day look devilishly inviting.
And as far as the rainbows and unicorns…you’re on your own with that one.
The deets:
* 3-piece breakfast set includes matching ceramic bowl, plate and mug.
* Makes a wonderful hostess gift, bachelor gift or birthday gift.
* Dishwasher safe.
* Gorgeous gift-wrapping available.

Gnomes cannot be kept down - world domination is their only goal. This set is a good way to get in their good graces!

It’s a gnome! On a swing! Named Arthur! And he’s French!
I would put yogurt and granola in the bowl and a little slice of cheese on toast on the bowl. In the cup? French press coffee, naturally!

Believed in gnomes? As in, he believed they lived amongst us? Or just in some far away land called Gnomia? I wonder if they eat off these plates…

I’m nuts for gnomes and these are too cute not to use daily. I heard that gnomes bring good luck or was that leprecans?

Brush up on your gnome trivia.

did you know “A garden gnome appears on the cover of the Beatles’ album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band near the “B” in “BEATLES”.

I wonder if gnomes were mainland Europe’s jealous response to the popularity of leprechauns?

Wasn’t there a really scary movie with gnomes that came alive and killed people. Sorry for bringing it down a notch.
Still love the plates. Although the mug is my favorite - I love a big mug for my coffee in the morning. And yellow is the perfect color.

I’m not sure what I’m supposed to write here, but I just wanted to say that I bought a set of your gnome plates. Thanks, Diane

I used to watch a cartoon called “The World of David the Gnome.” He has bird tracks on the soles of his shoes as a safeguard against humans finding him.

The gnome is adorable. And so is Eva Longoria. But I don’t think they look alike.

just checked mine, THEY CONTAIN LEAD, yup we got a test at the hardware store to check an older set, by chance I tested my beautiful knome plates, they had the darkest pink reading of lead of all the stuff that was positive for LEAD PAINT!!!!!! Too bad I wanted more of these.
