GaGa for Grobal
December 1st, 2008
Ten Reasons We Flipped For Grobals:

1. They water themselves!
2. We’re even more helpless than the average plant owner as the Delight.com front office plant can attest.
3. While we’d love to have an adorably designed office and have it filled with living green wonders, we don’t have much time on our hands…YAY! Grobals!
4. We like choices – tons of colors and two sizes!
5. Obviously, we’re easily amused…in taking apart and marveling at the Grobal contraption we were enthralled for a good thirty minutes.
6. We have tons of gifts that we need and the Grobal fits the bill, perfectly!
7. We are bummed that summer is over but these little lovelies help remind us of our favorite season!
8. Grobal…seriously. Best. Word. Ever.
9. Grobals…sounds like a rather frightening early 80’s film reference, but alas, it is something much cuter.
10. Beautiful. Check. Super Useful. Check

Is the tangerine more of a red color as shown in the photo? I love red so wanted to make sure before ordering. I don’t want to end up with orange:-)

While these are definitely the cutest plant pots ever I think it is so funny that in the picture you have three ZZ plants. I killed one of those by watering it on a normal basis, they just don’t like water. I now water my new one once a month and it’s doing awesome. Anyway, totally cute pots but don’t plant those plants in them!

what are the best kind of plants to buy for the grobal for someone who doesn’t exactly have green thumbs. also…anyone try a cactus in them…that seems like it would be cool for some reason.

Can I repot my existing plants in these? I’m a bit confused about the soil disc.

These are awesome. I got one in each size. I’m no gardner but I replanted a few of my neglected plants and now they’re thriving. Now I only water them once a week!

I am interested in the answer to Erin’s question. if you want to repot eventually, do you have to buy new soil disc and Grobal food or can it work just as well with walmart soil and no food?
