A BARGAIN! Don’t think, as I did at first, that you can get the same effects with a spheric lens on your system camera. This unit shoots the WHOLE frame, no cropping. What you see is what you get. Besides, why risk having the wrong lens on your hyper-pricey SLR system camera when you want to capture a fleeting image, when you can just reach for this lightweight unit? And really, do you want to spend over $200 on the single-purpose lens alone, when you can have a whole camera WITH lens, and WITH viewfinder for a fraction of that cost?
