Happy Handcrafted Holidays: Jonathan Adler Menagerie Ornaments

November 17th, 2009

Trimming the tree really is one of the most wonderful traditions, isn’t it? Not only is every single outcome beautiful in a multitude of ways, but we get the chance - for just a small time - to openly wear our heart on our sleeves.  Whether the tree is thematic by color or subject, or it’s a coterie of collections gathered over a lifetime, each tree tells a story about it’s owners, and we get to gaze upon them with joy.

It’s no wonder then, that these beautiful ornaments by Jonathan Adler are so inviting.  At first glance they just scream heirloom, but their fun playfulness makes them fresh and modern and appealing to all.  Who could resist hanging that poodle on their tree? And the graceful, fluid lines of the Dove is a perfect symbol of peace during the holidays.

Best of all, these little guys make AMAZING gifts, and even if you don’t have a tree, but love the look, these tiny figureines look just as good on a shelf as they do on the branches of a tree.

Merry Christmas!

Want to order the Jonathan Adler elephant but it is not listed on the “pull down” part of the order site–just the dove, whale and something else. How can I order the elephant? Are you out?

My comment is already printed above. Something is blocking me from ordering the Jonathan Adler elephant. Please let me know if it is available.

The elephant is on backorder. I can see it listed in the pull-down menu, but when you select it the message under Add to Cart changes from “In Stock & Ready to Ship” to “On Backorder until November 30, 2009″ Hope that helps!

These are fabulous!! What great gifts for Baby’s 1st Christmas, or just to hang in a nursery!!

These are crazily precious! I want! I have a combination fashion, home decor, and general fun stuff blog at
http://thepoorgirlspocketbook.blogspot.com if anyone would like to check it out.

This is a bunch of crap. Instead of saying Ornaments, you might want to say “Ornament”! I assumed this was a set of ornaments, not a single fat poodle. There was no pulldown option, and I was mislead in my purchase. You lost a customer, and many more once I spread the good will.

Brodie, Please also spread the word about how stupid you are. It’s very clear that this is for one ornament, and anyone who knows Adler would know the price reflects one anyway. (also for the record it does say “Choose from: Dove, Poodle, Whale or Elephant” do you have to have someone hold your hand in everything you do?)
Delight, I purchased the poodle and the elephant which arrived today and I just adore them! These are real ornament keepsakes!
