Eating off of a plate with a perfume bottle on it does not look appealing. Much more interesting and useful if they were small trays for the boudoir; for bracelets, earrings, loose change, love letters, etc.

These Hepburn-inspired plates are sure to bring a bit of Hepburn-inspired conversation, like one of my favorite movies, Wait Until Dark. These would also be a great item for a girl’s night over, as everyone could dress like her and be fabulous for the night

Wait- the description says it’s the “Le Petite Black Dress” set but the pictures are showing the “Les Femmes” set. Which one is for sale today? (I like the Petite Black Dress, but not the Femmes as much.)

I like the plates, they are really elegant. But I long for sophiscated, modern plates such as those that feature women of color also.
