She’s Never Loose…With Her Change
March 12th, 2008
Imagine:
You go to local coffee shop and order our Agrando Lite No-Foam Almond-Honey-Blueberry Latte and a Chocolate Biscotti. For once in your life, you have the cash to pay, but it’s a $20, so you’ll be getting .50 back. The horribly perky girl helping you has run plum out of quarters, which means she’s got to give you nickles and dimes.
"That’s ok" you think to yourself "Change is change."
You understand the need for change because you just fed the meter to pop in and buy your caffiene. You’re headed off to work - 10 minutes late - which means you’ll have to park on the street. More change. Your meeting your BF at a cute little wine bar after work, which is crammed in the middle of a trendy shopping street. They don’t have parking either. More change.
In 15 seconds you’ve already parceled out your .50 in change, and you’re not about to let it slip through your hands.
After years of wallets dumping themselves into the depths of your oversized bags, and after years of crawing around your car looking for anything silver, you’ve finally taken matters into your own hands.
Your weapon? The Loose Change Clutch by Latico. At first you were just smitten by the paisley, but now you’re just downright phychotically obsessed with the thing. Like an angel from heaven, this clutch has a coin slot on the OUTSIDE which lets you easilly, neatly and quickly, slide all your shinys right into a change purse where they belong.
While Chatty Cathy is rambling about no quarters (still) you slowly turn your clutch to the change postion and wait for nickles and dimes.
"Just set them on the counter" you say.
Bewildered she lays a pile of silver on the counter, and one by one you plop them into your slot.
You’ve seen it happen before, but the reaction still makes you smile.
"Wooooow" gushes Chatty.
"What IS that?" says the business woman behind you.
"Dude." Grunts the hipster barista.
Yeah. You’ve pretty much got the change thing all covered. And the instant crowd gratification isn’t all bad either.
Which actually makes feeding that damn meter ok with you.

Divrchk,
There are five compartments specifically designated for credit cards, but four other larger compartments that could hold other cards.

Not sure that this is the place to mention this, but in the Delight newsletter that just went out, it says that the price for this clutch is $42.00, which I think must be a misprint, because the website says it is $66.73.

thanks- just ordered 2
March 14th, 2008 at 8:37 am
I got mine today and it is SO cute- much more substantial than I had anticipated.
One thing that I have noticed is that when you put a bunch of change in, the last coin will come out if you turn it upside down. It isn’t coming through the slot past the plastic barrier.
Anyone else have that problem? Other than that I am super excited about it.
March 14th, 2008 at 6:32 pm
Still waiting to hear what the clutch is made of. Leather? Synthetic?
March 17th, 2008 at 3:21 am

March 30th, 2008 at 3:21 pm
Just was wondering…When did the price go up from $66 to $78? I just spotted this and read above that it was $66 but to order it says $78. Thanks!
March 30th, 2008 at 7:24 pm
Also….Do you think this would hold a cell phone inside?

MimiLeigh -
The Loose Change Clutch was our item of the day on March 12, and the discount meant you could snag this fab item for just $66!
Every day at noon CST, we put up a new item of the day that has a special discount, free shipping, or a gift with purchsae. This offer is ONLY available for 24 hours, and then the item goes back to its regular price. That’s why its so important to log on to Delight.com every day so you don’t miss all our great offers! (You can also sign up for our daily newsletter which pings your inbox with our item of the day so you don’t forget.)
To answer your second question, I think you could fit a Motorola Razr of something similar inside, but anything bulkier won’t fit.

Thank you so much for getting back to me. I wasn’t familiar with the site yet, but I’m catching on now.
April 2nd, 2008 at 11:46 am
Is this the only color or pattern the loose change clutch comes in?
April 15th, 2008 at 10:20 am
I’m dissapointed with mine. I’ve been using it for about a month and am quite frustrated with it. It certainly isn’t worth the amount paid. You can only put one coin in at a time and it still gets clogged up in the plastic barrier. I have to shake the wallet with each coin even after the plastic broke with me trying to get the coins unstuck. I’m sorry I didn’t realize this within the 15 days for return.
