Whites So Bright You’ll Need Sunglasses!
June 15th, 2009
We have been far from shy about our love for Nellie’s All Natural products, and the newest addition to their family, the insanely fabulous Oxygen Brightener, does indeed live up to the name
and works just as great as Nellie’s Laundry Nuggets. Pair them together, and you’ve got an all-natural cleaning power-duo that will get your laundry insanely white and clean. And from a completely obsessive laundry gal (I’m the one who won’t let anyone else clean my clothes) that’s saying a lot!!
Here’s a few more things you can do with the Oxygen Brightener – it works all over the house!
Mix 1 teaspoon of Oxygen Brightener per 16 oz/500 ml of water.
For kitchen floors, counters, trash cans and all other water washable surfaces:
- Apply to surface, wait 1-5 minutes
- Wipe with sponge or blot with towel
- Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry
For upholstery, fabric and carpet use same solution mixture:
- Test small area first
- Soak up any excess liquid before applying solution to stain
- Use only enough to cover stain area, wait 1-5 minutes
- Soak up with a white towel, repeat if necessary
- Rinse thoroughly with water and blot dry
- Vacuum once dry

About how many loads do you get out of one 2.2 lb package? Thanks.

Hi Krista,
The Nellie’s Oxygen Brightener is not laundry detergent therefore its hard to say how many “loads” per se you would get out of the 2.2 can. If you have a big load of laundry you would use more scoops and so on.
I have the Oxygen Brightener and my can has lasted about 3-4 months now

Im just wondering since Im changing everything in my place to be more green and eco-friendly, Is it like a natural bleach for whites but just less harming? and can I used them on my cloth pads?
