I just have to tell you guys that my breakfasts have vastly improved since I got these egg poachers. They are so easy to use…my fear of eggs is over and I’m now starting the day off healthy!

I recently threw a baby shower for a friend and I used the poachers to make eggs to place on top of the salad. It turned out great and so beautiful.

I can’t tell buy the description if this price is for 1, 2, or 4 domes. Plus they seem a bit pricey even for 4 of them.

I don’t wish to have to add oil of any kind especially oil mixed with who knows what kind of chemical propellants to my eggs( does anyone have any idea what’s in that stuff?). So, do the pods work w/o oil.

There are many healthy options to poach your eggs. I prefer to use spray olive oil (nothing funny in olive oil!) which you can purchase at just about any grocery store. Also, a bit of butter works great too. I prefer both of these b/c they add a little flavor to the eggs. BUT I’ve used them many times without any oil or butter at all and because the silicone is so pliable, they will slide out quite easily…just use a small spoon and scoop them out!

I LOVE this product. My boyfriend and I have friends over for eggs benedict all the time, and we look like pro’s!! The eggs turn our perfect every time and the clean-up is a breeze. I’ve purchased for a gift several times and everyone always raves about them.

This looks great, I am thrilled to see an option besides the various stainless and non stick contraptions that are impossible to clean, but as I am thinking this thru I am wondering how you are getting this in and out of boiling water? I guess I would use a large spoon. Also, I would think it’s a bit hot to turn insideout to release the egg. Feel free to comment if I missing something. Thanks!

As far as getting the poachpods in and out of the water- I’ve actually just gotten used to using my fingers, you could also use tongs or a big slotted spoon.
And yes, it is a bit hot to turn it inside out if you want to eat them right away (its the eggs that are hot, not the pods)…I’ve found the best way is to make sure you spray them with a bit of olive oil and then when they’re finished, just release the edges with a small spoon, and they pop right out!
