1. Julie Andrews (Okay, Neil Diamond was going to be first, but we’re going somewhere with this…)
2. The smell of white cake
3. Kittens (Not cats…)

Despite our usual cynicism from day-to-day, we realized this list could go on and on. Maybe it’s the impending Holidays and we’re still in the honeymoon phase (you know, the time before you realize how much you have to do and everybody starts getting crabby), but we’re feeling pretty excited about life.

OMG! I’m in LOVE with smencils (and love to say the name, hell it’s even fun to write it out) and got them as stocking stuffers over the holidays. These look awesome

When you click on “classic smencils”, why is that price less? You’re paying $.33 for fancy packaging? If that’s the case, I wish I had noticed that first. I know I may be cheap, but I like to call it frugal.

The colored pencils just naturally cost a bit more to make. The fancy packaging is a nice bonus!

Yes. They are colored pencils. The colors are:
pink, red, yellow, purple, brown, dark blue, light blue, green, orange and black.
Each is individually packaged and smells different.

I’d like to reply to Kim’s comment about the colored Smencils being $.33 more than the original Smencils. Actually, when today’s sale price goes away they are $2.00 more and I will gladly pay that again! The fancy packaging, as Kim called it, is a carrying case to keep them in. Which I think is a great idea, and is a bargain at $2 more. At an Art Store you’d pay 3xs that much. Plus they are colored pencils which are always going to be more money than regular pencils. So my advice is, if you like them, then order as many as you need because tomorrow the price goes up!

I also gave a couple sets for gifts and they were a huge hit. It really does make for a fun and unusaual gift since it’s eco and clever and you can’t find it at Target!!

These smell really nice, however, they are all in plastic cases which may end up in a landfill for a looong time.

I ordered these pencils for a young friend and, upon receiving them, immediately got online and ordered some for myself. Then I went to the local Toys’R'Us and bought some coloring books. I lurked around the house for days waiting for my set to come, and when they finally did . . . I found them to be too perfect to use! So they are displayed on my bedside table on top of a Beauty and the Beast coloring book. I smell one, a few, or all of them every night before drifting off. My young friend has already sent me a picture she drew with them, and it smells like chocolate-covered strawberries!

I love these!!! The kids went crazy for them and the case gets repeated use for us. We put a plastic bag (just what you get from stores for groceries) and I send it off with my kids when walking the dogs. The bag is in the tube in their pocket and they bring it home for a refill once the bag has been used. We’ve also used one to hold those extra fuses for the Christmas tree lights. Double and triple a batteries fit in them as well. Lots of uses so they don’t go into landfills.
