Fancy Schmancy
June 27th, 2008
There is a peculiar gene in my father’s side of the family that makes anyone in the bloodline be helplessly devoted to ice cream. Literally, I scream, my dad screams, my aunt screams, we all scream for ice cream. This pretty much makes us relatively easy to please dessert wise – ice cream, any kind will do.
The problem with serving ice cream for dessert has always been in the presentation. It melts and it doesn’t scoop out looking nearly as good as raspberry pear tart you spent all day slaving over. Whether we like to admit it or not, we’re all rather impressed when we go to those fancy restaurants with their purees, crystalized sugar scupltures, and perfectly executed sweets. We try to emulate the drizzling and accent fruit, but let’s face it, we don’t always have the time or the energy. Never fear, we found a way to have your favorite summer dessert and make it just as pretty as any gourmet pastry in no time at all!
The Scoop & Stack Ice Cream Server is ergonomically designed to retrieve even the hardest of ice creams with a simple lift and twist…and makes every scoop look like a small, sweet piece of art!

Coolest. Item. Ever. Can it really scoop up that “hard to get to” ice cream? Love that it can be thrown in the dishwasher!

Thomas Keller is my hero - if I can achieve his greatness through ice cream, then so be it!

I waited too long and I wanted to get it for an “ice cream freak”. Will you be getting more in or is there a website I can go to directly to order this? Thanks.
