LOOP-dee-Loop!
September 26th, 2007
The candlestick has had a long and venerated existence in the world of housewares, but even more so gifting. Forever the classic gift for weddings, anniversaries, and housewarmings, the candlestick has become so common it is usually the tamest item on a registry. We here at Delight decided that if we can’t change the history of the gift, we can at least change the gift itself.
This Loop Candleholder by British design team Black+Blum (some of our favorite design boys from across the Atlantic) is as gorgeous as it is intriguing by design. A simple wisp of Chrome whose ends culminate in a lovely elevated candleholder: the design also encourages multiple Loop to be intertwined or lined up in a row to create an effect of an endless string of silver.
The key to design is finding items that will improve the pieces you already have, not uprooting everything you have going for you in a the room. For this, the Loop is that strange item that fits in any room brightening and exciting any room they’re in.
Don’t let a budget and boring table stop you from having a perfect setting for your dinner parties!

I bought two of these thinking I would give one as a gift, but just for fun I “linked” them up on my dining room table and they look so amazing, I can’t bear to part with the other one! In fact, I’m ordering more to give as gifts, as well as a third for myself. I’ve never been a huge “centerpiece” gal, but these candle holders make me want to host dinner parties every week!

These candle holders are even more beautiful in person than they were online!
