Bamboo Me Some Bathtime
November 10th, 2009
Look. It’s Friday, you’re exhausted, and all you really want to do is go home and take a bath.

Problem: too many hours of drooling over HGTV home design makeovers has convinced you that your lowly bathtub is barely fit for you to rinse your delicates…let alone spa it up and relax.
Answer: don’t let those home design shows get you down. Your bathtub LOVES you! It just needed a little boost that’s all. And we have found the boost for you.
This sustainable bamboo bath caddy is DELUXE. It’s like the clouds lifted and the sun shone when I discovered this puppy…I’m kind of a wood freak right now, and this caddy is just the yummiest color of bamboo…so posh looking! AND…MOST IMPORTANTLY….it has a very sturdy slid-in tray to keep a fine glass of wine or champagne or what have you.
It has (finally) a nice book rack so you don’t have to freeze your arms and hands while precariously holding your reading material above the water.
See how many problems a super-fabulous bath caddy can solve?
Now go relax and have a great weekend! (And make sure someone is close at hand to fill up that glass!)
Here is one of many comments and reviews:
"Love this caddy!!! I use the soap arrea for a candle (love all candle light at bath time). The wine glass holder works perfect for a martini as well. Your web site rocks!!!" Sharone
P.S. Be sure to add these amazing Fragonard Bath Salts t
o your shopping list.

Looks like a great gift idea for my girlfriend. A little late for valentines day but who cares!
Ahah, another great idea would be a mens version beer shower rack.

I just discovered your amazing web site a few weeks ago and ordered the tub caddy. I got my order in two days and I’m thrilled with it (I was a bit concerned if it was worth the money—so worth it!) it’s solid, it really is flexible and I love that it’s eco friendly. I may have to get a few others for gifts!

FYI I have one of these (my hubby bought it elsewhere; sorry!) but…I have a super wide bath and it works just fine. In fact, it’s GREAT! I love it. Although I’m glad to hear what those odd little holes on the back of it are for! (loofah, razor) This site is great, btw - just found it…

does anyone know if it would work for a clawfoot tub? they have those thin, rounded sides and I don’t know if it would stay.

How does it hold the book in place? I can’t tell from the picture. Is there a clamp or a back support? Anything to hold the pages down?

After a long, exhausting day, there is nothing better than pouring myself a glass of wine, filling up the tub, grabbing a good book or magazine and taking a relaxing bath without worrying about spilling the wine or getting my book or magazine wet. The Bath Caddy is absolutely fabulous!

The speed of delivery was amazing and the presentation was outstanding. It was nice that you guys packed some sample stuff in there. Made the package feel special, like someone cared about making it nice for me. Thanks!!

Please inform if there is anything to keep book open or keep pages in place. This seems to be lacking in all gadgets like this

Hi Nancy -
While there is no specific contraption to keep books open, the caddy does have three groves in front of the book rest which allow you to set your book or magazine at different angles - thus, keeping it open easier.
If that doesn’t work, I say ditch the book and just focus on the wine!!!

This is beautiful! My husband has been wanting a caddy to read in the bath! I LOVE this one!
I discovered this site from heavypetal.ca. And I’m participating in her contest to win
I’d love to win this for my hubby!

So, the description says the following-
- Extends 5 inches on each side to fit most tubs
- Size: 27.8″ L x 8 1/2″ W (not extended)
Does that mean when fully extended it should cover about 37″? I have an extra wide tub and want to make sure it would fit before ordering (I have already had to return one from another store). Thanks!

I don’t think that I have ever taken a shower in my apartment. Ok maybe 1 or 2. All I ever take are baths, one every night in fact. I like to read the latest NY magazine or Yoga journal and have a cup of tea. When I bought this bath caddy for myself a couple of months ago it really upgraded the whole set up. No more half wet magazines!

Now what if you have an average size tub with only 1.5″ (maximum) on the one side to rest this on (the side with the wall) will it stay balanced?
November 11th, 2009 at 9:03 am
Looks awesome, and I’ve been staring at it for months. But I am wondering the same thing that Natilie asked back in May (didn’t see an answer)…I’ve only got a couple inches on the wall side of my tub. Will it work on that? Do the metal handle thing-ys slide in/out or anything? Thanks!
November 11th, 2009 at 9:05 am
Whoops, just saw the info about 5 inch extension on both sides. But still wondering about it hitting the wall…

No worries about this fun and functional bath caddy. The handles do extend in and out to fit most small and large roman style bathtubs. So even if you have a small space or a small bathtub, this should work. Hope this helps. Happy Shopping from your Delight.com Customer Service Manager Melissa.
