Let them have the cake, I’ll take the tea
September 7th, 2007
I used to go to a fancy teahouse once a month with friends just so that I could indulge on tiny cute cakes and finger sandwiches, but most of all on truly good tea. I’m not talking about any of that stuff you buy in the supermarket or find at the bottom of a questionable gift basket – just the good stuff. Whether I was in the mood for something soft or something crisp with a kick, the teahouse was always a fun way to get away for an hour or two.
Unfortunately, I’ve moved to a place that doesn’t have any teahouses (not that I’d have any time to go), so I’ve been on a search to find the best way to indulge my predilection for tea at home, whenever I have a moment to myself. This search was heightened after a screening of Sophia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette, namely a scene where Kristen Dunst is given an amazing blossom of tea that seems to explode into a flower in her all-too-beautiful china.

I just got my glass teapot with the adorable tea posy and I’m soooo excited. Just love the clear glass and when the tea posy blossoms it’s just beautiful. Plus the tea is fabulous! I would recommend this to anyone who loves different types of tea!

Received the Teaposey from my daughter for mother’s day - the presentation was excellent. As i opened the package - i knew this was a moment to savor…which I did. Love the packaging - made me want to go to the websight immediately - such care was given. Thanks so much - love the Tea - have shared it with family and friends.

I covet this for my mom; I showed her some blooming tea last winter, but she doesn’t have anything clear to show off the ones I gave her, and with this, she’d have plenty of tea besides!

this is so adorable yet so creative! how big are the blossom of tea before they bloom in the hot water? i was also wondering if you can refill the pot with more hot water and make a second batch of the tea using the same tea blossom, or if its only for a one time use type of thing. either way i think the clear teapot is absolutely adorable! never seen one before. definately considering perchasing this item for my mother’s birthday coming up soon! or even for christmas!

I just got this for Christmas and it’s amazing. I love it!! The tea is wonderful. The bloom fills the bottom of the pot and it brews about 24 oz of tea. The handle has beautiful crystal like detailing on it. It’s so much fun to show this off!! I just wish that Delight also sold the tea posies separately.
