Kitchen Gadgets 101
December 31st, 1969
As much complaining as goes into it, there is nothing better than event cooking. You know the cooking you do for 20 people you invited and the 20 people you didn’t. You know when you didn’t have enough time and the homemade rolls came out looking like sugar cookies, but you found a way to fudge yourself through it and two hours later you looked around and saw everyone sitting back, fat and happy.
It is a tremendous ego boost to learn that you can handle anything life throws at you, well, at least in the kitchen. Yet, at the end of the day you know the only way to get through such moments is with the help of the hundreds of gadgets you’ve accumulated over the years to ease your efforts in the kitchen. In honor of these gadgets and of the upcoming event cooking holiday of the year, Thanksgiving, we give you the Cut & Carve Chopping Board and foodloop Lace.
You’ll never be able to get through another Thanksgiving without these two ingenious little helpers. The board will let you pull, poke, and cut your Turkey without anything sliding around. One side has a meat grip to keep slippery things still and both sides have angles surfaces and lips to collect any juices that get away. The Lace will let you stuff and flavor your Turkey without having to hassle with the cheap inclusions that come with a store bought Turkey.
So go ahead and accept a little help from your two new friends!

I bought this carving board awhile ago and use it weekly! Keeps all of the juices contained, doesn’t slide around, and is dishwasher safe. You do not have to limit this board to a turkey! I use it for making burgers and shredding pork or chicken. Great find.
