The Play’s The Thing is a perfect way for pre-teens and teens, and adults to fall in love with the world of Shakespeare. The game presents quotes, plots and characters from one play at a time in a fun way. As players pieces together sets and perform scenes, the play begins to make sense. Soon, players are ready to go on to the next Shakespeare play. And then the next.
The Setting: London, England, in the year 1603.
The Players: You and your friends, all Elizabethan actors. (Those of you who are over 21…well – we think you can be creative with this game!)
The Plot: Dash and duel your way around the Globe Theater game board.
Watch out for stage mishaps, missed cues, and even the plague while you collect scenes - plot lines, quotations and characters from Shakespeare’s latest plays.
A Happy Ending: To win, collect and "perform" the most scenes. No acting is necessary, unless you want to!
Whether you want to act out the plays or be "off Stage", The Play’s the Thing is enjoyable to play. There are duels, stage mishaps and missed cues that add special flavor and fun. Players come away with a positive attitude toward a very important literary figure. Beginners and experts can play together with four levels of challenge. LOVE this! My family are theater buffs so this would be the perfect game to bring to our spring vacation

This is a great item to have for entertaining. It is also a great learning tool and it makes learning fun. You can even take it with you on road trips or to a friends house!
