After hearing it more than a thousand times during the course of our life, we were interested to find out who that voice actually belonged to (sorry, to burst anyone’s bubble, the liger doesn’t exist). It turns out a man with the unbelievable name of Thurl Ravenscroft is who we have to thank. There really aren’t enough words in the English language to describe the greatness of that name. It is so great, we’ve even coined it a catch phrase! Over here at Delight HQ, whenever you see something bizarre, but you absolutely love it, you call it a “Thurl Ravenscroft.” Hence, and appropriately this kitschy classic Tony the Tiger dish set was definitely a “Thurl Ravenscroft.”

I know they sell these at macy’s or dillards or somewhere for more $$$ than here…but not coupon/mail order (?????)

I dunno…I like the set and think almost anything under $20 is a deal these days especially if it’s not at Target.

I’m so torn about Target. I love their prices, who doesn’t? And their designer stuff is cool but I also really want indie designers and shops like Delight to thrive. What’s a girl to do????
