More Clocky video…watch the 30 Second Clocky commercial by Savannah College of Art and Design I have a good friend who is quite odd; being in possession of one of the most bizarre sleep patterns known to man, she has finally reached a precipice. She will be attending medical school in the fall and will no longer be able to indulge in her “stay up til six am, sleeping until three in the afternoon” schedule. It will be a whole lot more of an “up at six, lucky if you get in bed by one in the morning, after four hours of studying” schedule. While she’ll be spending the summer trying to reset her circadian rhythm, she’s smart enough to know she’ll need some help. Serious help. Enter Clocky.
Clocky is an alarm clock that will not be denied, refused, or ignored. It gives you two moments of respite, two pushes of the snooze button, and then all bets are off. The Clocky is on the move. Replete with rubber wheels to absorb falls, it jumps from your night table and the chase is on. The Clocky will find its way about the floor to keep moving and projecting a myriad of laughable, get-up-able noises until you find it and manage to turn it off. Designed and manufactured by our favorite new design collective, Nanda, this product is as adorable as it is inventive. It comes in a soft almond white that will work with any decor. It’s about as close to a robot as we’ll probably ever get. But I tell ya, it sure does the trick. No one likes to get up (especially my poor night-owl friend), but sadly, we must. So why not have a little help from AI? Clocky to the rescue!

I think I will most likely cuddle next to clocky so it can’t roll away from me after I snooze.

Jen, I love your comment!! The thing is, Clocky is so expensive, I would *have* to get out of bed so that I could earn the money to adopt him. sigh.
