Shipping;

The Delight.com mantra: Cheap & Speedy Shipping Makes For Very Happy Shoppers. Our goal is to deliver your purchase as quickly as possible: within 24-48 hours from the time you place your order.

Delight.com ships via USPS or UPS and offers a flat rate for the Continental US only:
$7.95 per order for standard 5-7 business day ground shipping
$25.95 for 2-4 business day priority flat rate shipping.
Or if you gotta have it pronto, you have the option of choosing the overnight express service for a flat rate of $52.95. (order before 2pm MST, there is no Saturday delivery)
We reserve the right to charge additional shipping fees for certain products, or excessive poundage.

AK/HI Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico orders are $15.50 standard flat rate, $34.95 expedited and $58.95 overnight.

At this time, we do not ship to  AFPO’s addresses. Occasionally we offer free standard shipping and if you—hint, hint—sign up for the newsletter you might just be first to hear about the special offers and promotions.

We ship orders Monday-Friday; cut-off time for orders to ship same day is 2pm MST (that means if you order after 2pm your package probably won’t go out that same day). However, we DO NOT guarantee same day shipping. Your order may take up to 5 business days to process and ship.
We do not ship on Saturdays, The 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Easter, Thanksgiving or the day after Thanksgiving, Dec 22, 23, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day.

We try our best to post shipping deadlines for Holidays. Please note that we do not guarantee ANY shipment via ground if it is ordered less than 5 days before the holiday (i.e. Mother’s Day) or your special occasion. The ONLY way we can guarantee delivery is if you order Overnight Delivery prior to 2pm MST of the day you want it shipped.

Being concerned about the environment we carefully pack our orders using 100% bio-degradable packing peanuts made from corn starch (yes you can eat them) or we re-use packing materials shipping to us (and boy do we have fun tearing up the boxes!)  Our colored tissue paper is made from 75% Post Industrial Recycled Fibers and our Gift Boxes and External Packaging Boxes use 100% Recycled Materials and are approved by the Save the Forest Foundation.

 

 

FREE SHIPPING OVER $100 - If your purchase, after discounts, totals $100+ you will receive free ground shipping. This offer applies to the continental US only.  Canadian & non-Continental customers will receive a $7.95 discount from your flat rate shipping fee.  This offer applies only to single orders shipping to a single address, and may not be applied to multiple orders sent to multiple addresses.

Gifting

 

We make it easy to send most items as gifts. We are obsessed with all things paper, and nothing makes us happier than a well-wrapped present. When you send gifts from Delight.com they are sent out with our signature wrapping that includes a gift card containing your thoughtful message. Just check the “gift wrap” option on the shipping area during checkout.

Gift-wrap prices are only $5.99 per item for boxes and 10.99 per item for reusable gift wrap. Only one items per gift wrap may be indicated at checkout, so please indicate which one you’d liked wrapped if you have more than one item in your shopping cart. Oh yeah, we don’t include the price of the items on the packing slip with orders marked as gifts. Your secret is safe with us!  We also now offer reusable gift wrap that features a gorgeous RuMe bag so it’s actually like getting two gifts in one!

Gift Certificates

We currently do not offer Gift Certificates but will be adding them this year!  Stay tuned.

Exchanges and Returns

We hope you love everything you order from Delight. Should you be less than happy with anything we will cheerfully take back the product (no questions asked) but there are a few guidelines. Because of the nature of the site we must have you mail back any returns within 30 days of your order arrival.

Shipping/handling on returned merchandise is non-refundable in most cases. We do not pay for return shipping. Gift wrap is non-refundable. All sales are final on our sale items.  This includes items featured in our Scout sales, general sale promotions and secret sales.  These items can only be returned and/or refunded if they arrive damaged. (sale items have prices ending in .89)

In your return package, please include a copy of your receipt with the return.

For your protection, we recommend shipping via insured/certified mail or UPS/FedEx Ground service, so you have a record of the return. Goods must be returned in perfect condition, so please handle items with care. NOTE: Delight.com is not responsible for shipping costs for returns, exchanges and/or edited orders. Please note, while we process returns on a weekly basis, it may take 1-2 billing cycles for refunds to appear on your credit card statement. If you have any questions regarding returns or exchanges please feel free to contact us at returns@delight.com. If, heaven forbid, an item sent to you is damaged you need to contact Customer Service within 5 business days of delivery and hold onto the box the order was shipped in. Once the claim has been settled the box can be discarded. Contact us via email at returns@delight.com.

Payment Options

We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express and Paypal.  By paying with a Credit Card, you authorize Delight.com to charge your credit card for the total amount of your order including shipping and any applicable sales tax (CA and CO). Your credit card will be charged when your order is processed.

We reserve the right to cancel orders if there are questions about the billing or shipping addresses, if we cannot verify phone numbers or email addresses or if there is a possibility of fraud or abuse.

Order Confirmation

After you place an order you will receive a cheery e-mail confirmation for your order. This confirmation will contain the details of the items ordered. If you are one of those people who deletes everything in their in-box, don’t worry - you can also find your order details on our site in My Account by clicking on the link titled "View orders" and selecting the related order. We will also send you another happy confirmation e-mail when your order enters the shipping process and your credit card has been charged.

Security

Shopping on Delight.com is safe and secure. We’re kind of obsessed with security too. This site is tested by Hacker Proof and certified daily to pass the FBI/SANS Internet Security Test. We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of our customers’ personal data and do not keep any credit card information on our website. We use your email (and occasionally your telephone number) exclusively to communicate with you regarding your order and never distribute your personal information to other companies.

Taxes

We gotta do what The Man tells us, folks. All items sold on the Delight.com website are sold by Delight.com. Orders shipped to destinations in the states of Colorado are subject to tax of 2.9%. Tax is calculated on the sale price of the item.  Residents in other states are  responsible for complying with local state tax laws.

Discounts and Coupons

Who doesn’t like to save even more? We’re REALLY obsessed with saving! Occasionally Delight.com will offer special promotions and discounts through various means (hint, hint—sign up for the newsletter for these types of special offers) for a limited time. One discount, coupon or promotional offer can be applied per order. Discounts do not apply to shipping costs or gift certificates. Items which already have a volume pricing discount do not qualify for an additional "percent" or "dollars" off.

Our promotions and special offers are not retroactive and are only valid on the dates specified during the promotion.  We cannot give credits or refunds for purchases made prior or after the promotion dates.

Redeeming Coupons

Steps for redeeming a discount offer, coupon or promotional offer:

  1. On the Shopping Bag page, enter the code exactly as it appears, into the box labeled "Coupon Code".
  2. Click "Update".
  3. If your discount qualifies, it will be displayed in the payment summary.

 Sales and Special Promotions

    Every so often we will have a blow out sales event but you can always find selected sales items in our Sale guide.  All sales are final on our sale items.  This includes items featured in our Scout sales, general sale promotions and secret sales.  These items can only be returned and/or refunded if they arrive damaged. However, if the items isn’t to your liking we hope you will be able to find a pal who would enjoy it!
