I’m NUTS About You!
February 6th, 2010
Dear John,
I’ll say it straight out – I just plain love you. I LOVE YOU!
It’s hard to believe we’ve been together so long, and I know this sounds cheesy and all, but it seems like just yesterday you kissed me for the first time.
It’s been a pretty rough year for both of us, but it would have been so much worse if you weren’t around. I’m so thankful we can still make each other laugh – that I DON’T’ get tired of being around you, and that – most importantly – I can tell you everything…good or bad…truthfully and honestly, always.
You are by far the greatest guy I’ve ever met. Ever.
I’m just nuts about you, and always will be.
With all my love,
Sue

Like a secret code, this keychain is PDA without the P. Perfect for a low profile, private person like my husband.

I think it’s so sweet for a guy. Kind of like a private message. if I was super creative I’d package it in a bag of pistachios.

neat idea, but $20?? it’s like $.80 worth of hardware from the hardware store!

they look bigger and nicer than just hardware store stuff - (arent’t they gold and silver plated?) and anyway, I don’t have the time or creativity to make something that cute on my own.

OK. I could make this in about 2 minutes and spend about what Andy said for material. They’re kidding asking $20 (or maybe they know something I don’t)!

Hi agree with Becky - I got mine a few days ago and broke down and gave it to my boyfriend this weekend (he spent saturday fixing my car) - he’s not a mushy guy, but he really really liked it! he put it right on his keychain and everything!

I’m not totally the PC police, but since this is one that often gets ignored, I have to point this out. If your boyfriend was struggling about whether or not to tell you he was bipolar, would a gift that uses the term “nuts” so loosely be a big help? I know, I know. It’s a stretch, even for me, but I’ve made my promise with stigma busters to speak up when I see it, and I see it. If we’re going PC about the environment, shouldn’t we protect people’s hearts and minds as well?

THAT IS THE SINGLE MOST RIDICULOUS COMMENT I HAVE EVER HEARD. SERIOUSLY?

YAY!! I’m so glad you brought this back! This year I actually have a boyfriend I LOVE who I can give this to!

Seriously? $20?!

This key chain is not only super adorable but the best part is that it is not super big. It has a nice weight to it and looks really pretty being that is gold and silver plated! On a side note I really like to think of Valentines Day as celebrating all the people that I love including my Dad, who would love this key chain! Perfect for Fathers Day too.
xoxo

I agree. Seriously?! $20? I saw this on a website a number of years ago and made it myself for about $1. Just run into an Ace Hardware. It took about as long to make this as typing in your info to order on-line. $20 is absurd. Really.

I love this. I think it’s a cute simple way to show you care. $20 is reasonable and it comes in that cute little box. Adorable.

So it wouldn’t be expensive to make yourself but is it ethical to steal someone else’s idea to save a few bucks? Either way most people I know spend more than $20 a week on buying lunches so skip a couple of subways and pay the creative minds who came up with this their fair share.

This is such a great gift for a guy! Plus he’d have it with him all the time.
